Girl arrested after standoff on American Canyon freeway

(KRON) — A lady was arrested on Thursday morning after a brief standoff with the American Canyon Police Division, police mentioned. The incident started when the suspect was stopped on the freeway and refused to adjust to officers.

ACPD mentioned the officers noticed a stolen 2019 Nissan Sentra going southbound on Freeway 29 earlier than 9:30 a.m. When a site visitors cease was carried out, the motive force refused to get out of the automobile, police mentioned.

A brief standoff ensued, and police shut down the southbound lanes of the freeway close to Mid Metropolis Nursery at 3635 Broadway Road.

The motive force was recognized as Sabrina Annal, 39, of Fairfield. She had a number of felony warrants from Solano County for automobile theft, automobile pursuits, and hit-and-run.
