The Brač Film Festival will reopen on August 10th this year, in collaboration with many enthusiasts in the film industry.

From August 10th to 13th, the summer cinema in Supetar, Brač, will show the story of a popular and wonderful movie that has been shown on the island for eight consecutive years.

At this year’s Brachi Film Festival, a variety of film programs will be screened outdoors on a large screen over a four-day period, allowing viewers to enjoy feature films, short films, and children’s programs.

A real treat for all movie lovers

The main program of the summer cinema from 9:30 pm will feature a short film before each feature film.

This short film program is aimed at students from the local film academy who have the opportunity to show outstanding works in Brachi. We are expecting titles of “Pištoljiikacige”, “Kriza”, “Džonika” and “Sound” this year. mixer”.

The first night of the main program and this year’s festival will be hosted by the film “Divljaci” directed by Dario Ronjak.

This action comedy tells the story of three fans of the Croatian national team who accidentally wandered into a terrorist camp.

On the second day of BFF, the outstanding title “Strahinja Banovich” directed by Stephen Arsenievic was screened twice at FEST on the main program.

On the night of the third day, we will watch Sonja Tarokić’s movie “Zbornica,” which critics have declared “arguably one of the best Croatian films of recent years.”

At the end of the festival, the sports drama “Zratnijechak” directed by Ognyanyankovich enters the professional world and demands his own private life and top sports.

Seventh art for the youngest audience

From the beginning, the Brachi Film Festival has valued the importance of screening for children as the first encounter with the Seventh Art.

Children’s films are shown behind the church every night from 9 pm and are produced for ages 6 and up this year, so apart from the domestically produced “Ljeto kadasamnaučilaletjeti”, 12-year-old Sophia is on the island of Hvar. It will be an adventure that I could not imagine. Foreign titles celebrated at film festivals are also coming.

The youngest will have the opportunity to watch the films “Kraljica komedije” and “Nelly Rapp: Agentic azačudo višta” and the animated film “Imiševiiduu raj”. Before that, there is a short animated short film “Jaje” for children by Ana Despot. , Familiar to everyone, is displayed.

This year’s BFF program is even more fulfilling than previous editions, bringing genre diversity. From animated films, children’s films, action comedies to sports dramas, and many of the guests expected in this year’s edition, create a real cinematic sight on one of Croatia’s most beautiful islands.
