Greece approves € 1.9 billion loan through recovery fund

Deputy Treasury Minister Thodoros Skylakakis said Thursday that the government had issued the first approval of a € 1.9 billion business loan provided through the Resilience and Resilience Fund.
Skylakakis said at the “Green Deal Greece 2022” conference of the Greek Technical Council at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center:
He announced that additional 650-700 investment projects are currently in process and the total budget for these projects is unprecedented, with 75% being green or digital.
“Proceeding with a green transition is in our interest. The Recovery Fund provides tools and resources that have never been and will never be available. The goal is for a green and digital transition. Is a quick transition, “he said.
He estimated that Greece would receive additional funding from the REPower EU program.
