Greek cables provide inter-array cables

Hellenic Cables has completed the manufacture and shipment of cables for the partial supply of inter-array cables for the Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind (CVOW) commercial project as part of a contract with US renewable energy company Dominion Energy.

Hellenic Cables was responsible for the design, supply and storage of approximately 50km 66kV XLPE isolated submarine array cables connecting wind turbines to offshore substations.

The cables are manufactured at the Hellenic Cables submarine cable manufacturing facility in Corinth, Greece.
