In three French locations with historic connections to the Grimaldi family, the annual Grimaldi Historic Site Conference at Palace Square will showcase traditions for all to enjoy. In June.
Following a diplomatic agreement or marriage alliance, the Prince of Monaco received titles such as the Duke of Valentino, the Marquis of Bo, the Marquis of Carlades, the Baron of Saint-Loe, the Count of Longjumo, and Sir Matignon. As a result, nearly 150 sites in France and Italy have maintained ties to the Grimaldi family for centuries.
To continue this relationship, Prince Albert wanted to meet a certain number of people each year.
After being absent for two years due to a health crisis, the third edition of the Grimaldi Historic Site Conference in Monaco will take place on June 4th and 5th in the square outside the Prince’s Palace.
In this new edition, there are three sites. LaManche – Sanlo, Hambye, Torigny-les-Villes, Granville, Moyon, Percy-en-Normandie, Cherbourg, Territoire de Belfort – Belfort, Giromagny, Alpes-Maritimes – Cagnes-sur-Mer, La Turbie, Antibes Juan・ Les Pan, Puget-Thénier, Peille.
Over a two-day period, each will showcase its own products such as crafts, folklore, cooking and traditional entertainment.
Another highlight is the sound and light show projected on the facade of the Prince’s Palace around 10:15 pm on Saturday, June 4th.
