Gujarat Titans defeated Luknow Super Giants with 5 wickets

Mumbai: In his first IPL match on Monday, Pacer Mohammed Shami bowled a fierce opening spell before Rafurtewatia defeated the undefeated 40 to help the Gujarat Titans defeat the Lucnow Super Giants in five wickets.

Shami (3/25) winds from the Super Giants top order before Gujarat Titans Deepakhuda (41 balls 55 off) and Ayushbadni (41 balls 54 off) crush their 50s to help the team’s post. Bowled a fierce opening spell to blow away 158 with 6 people.

Skipper Hardik Pandya (33), all-rounder Tennessee (40 not out), Matthew Wade (30) and David Miller (30) got together to put the Titans on the line.

Apart from Shami’s three, Varun Aaron chose two wickets (2/45), and Rashid Hahn (1/27) was one of the Titans batters.
