Heerema will use its H-591 barge to transport jackets from Oman’s L & T yard to Marjan offshore fields. The onboard vessel is Sleipnir, Helema’s largest semi-submersible crane vessel, operating on emission-reducing LNG and capable of lifting 20,000 tonnes.
In 2023, Sleipnir will lift-install a jacket with a total weight of 24,000 metric tons and 92 piles.
