One of the typical questions around midsummer in Finland, one of the most important, is what the weather will be.
The weather forecaster is good news for our readers: it will be hot!
On the eve of midsummer on Friday, mercury rises above 25 degrees Celsius in many places. According to the Meteorological Bureau Foreca, depending on the location, even 32 degrees may be possible.
Finland’s definition of heat is 25.1 degrees Celsius.
Even on Saturday’s midsummer days, fine weather will be the mainstream. Temperatures of 25 to 30 degrees can occur in most places.
Then, on Sunday’s recovery day, it will be even warmer nationwide. It can be between 30 and 33 degrees.
And according to the latest forecast, this high pressure will continue next week. The wind is weak and the weather is hot, so the water warms up rapidly. Already now, the water temperature of lakes around southern Finland is about 20 degrees Celsius.
