The United Arab Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Federation (UAEJJF) has hosted multiple international Jiu-Jitsu competitions in Abu Dhabi for over a decade, drawing thousands of athletes, fans and visitors from around the world to the UAE capital. Abu Dhabi has undoubtedly established itself as a premier sporting destination and has hosted numerous important international competitions. The city hosted Formula 1, the FIFA Club World Cup, the Jiu-Jitsu World Championships three times in a row, and his NBA for the first time.
