Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand virtually meets public

Hyderabad: Hyderabad police commissioner CV Anand is effectively meeting the complainant, as cases of COVID-19 are skyrocketing in Telangana, especially due to GHMC restrictions.

Police officers have remained in panic mode since more than 650 police officers from the state were recently infected with the coronavirus.

Due to the ever-increasing infection rate among police officers, Police Secretary Hyderabad has virtually decided to meet the petitioner. In this regard, a virtual conference section was created at the reception counter in the office of Police Secretary Bassiaback.

During the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, about 500 police officers were infected with the virus in the state. In the second wave, about 40 of the 700 infected officers died.
