“We need to innovate and establish our own models to achieve self-sufficiency and promote the well-being of the world,” he added.

He urged IIT Hyderabad to redefine its role in meeting social needs and providing affordable global solutions.

The Minister said National Education Policy 2020 (NEP2020) is a roadmap for placing India at the top of the new world order.

He suggested that IIT Hyderabad should strive to provide education and skills in the frontier space, encourage risk-taking, turn job seekers into job seekers, and establish new parameters of excellence.

He said skills are a lifelong process and NEP2020 emphasizes the integration of skills development into the education system.

The Minister has proposed to IIT Hyderabad and industry experts to establish a world-class skills development center at IITH to take advantage of IR 4.0 and the 21st century employment market.

He expressed his conviction that IITH, which focuses on research and innovation, will be a role model for emerging and global economies.

Ministers thank Cyient’s BVR Mohan Reddy and Greenko’s Anil Chalamasetty for their generous donations, responsible for strengthening research activities at IITH and putting the institute at the forefront of innovation and entrepreneurship. Did.

He also witnessed a groundbreaking memorandum of understanding for the first Sustainability Science and Technology School in IIT Hyderabad.

The infrastructure launched today is part of a campus development project in collaboration with Japan and India through JICA.
