Incredible car features clear windshield ice in seconds without lifting a finger – but not everyone is convinced

People online are stunned by the new features of the recently launched electric vehicle. This will be of great help this winter.
Uploaded to Twitter by Tim Stevens, his video is the wiper system for the new Lucid Air GT currently on sale in the United States.
Automotive journalist Tim wrote in his tweet: @Lucid Motors Air GT to test this week.
“The heated washer fluid slowly melts the ice, so no scrubbing!
“It worked very well in this morning’s frost.”
The video shows a car’s wiper blades ejecting heated liquid in front of the blades, melting the frost on the screen.

The blade then shoots more heated liquid forward, repeating the process until the entire screen is clear.
However, not everyone in the comments below the video was convinced the feature was amazing or new.
As one Twitter user put it:
Another said, “Ford Transit vans have heated windshields that clear in seconds for years and years.
“I think they heat the washer jets as well. Unless this is unique to the UK, I don’t see what’s so impressive about an EV heating the washer jets.”
A third said, “The Cadillac had a heated nozzle washer, but it was recalled because it cracked the windshield.
“In this situation, how did they get away with it?”
