IOS 15.4 with mask unlock function is now live, universal control is now available on iPad and Mac

New Delhi: Apple has begun rolling out iOS 15.4 and iPad OS 15.4 for compatible models, and the iPhone now includes an option to unlock Face ID while the user is wearing a mask.
The Face ID with Mask option allows iPhone to recognize and authenticate unique features around the eyes.
“Face ID wearing a mask can be used to unlock the iPhone, complete transactions with Apple Pay, and use it as authentication to auto-fill passwords in apps and Safari,” the company said.
The new features work on iPhone 12 and above.
SharePlay is a powerful feature set for the sharing experience during FaceTime calls. In iOS 15.4, you can start a SharePlay session directly from a supported app.
Siri has new voices for English speakers and more options for users to choose the voice they speak. The new Siri voice leverages Neural Text to Speech technology for incredibly natural sound.
iOS 15.4 includes over 37 new emojis, including faces, hand gestures, and household items.
Users can now select different skin tones for each hand with handshake emoji.
A new version of iOS was released with iPad OS 15.4 and macOS 12.3, adding support for Apple’s new universal control feature.
With “Universal Control,” you can use the keyboard, mouse, and trackpad on your Mac and iPad. Use a single keyboard, mouse, or trackpad to work between devices, “Apple said. I am.
When you move from your Mac to your iPad, the mouse or trackpad cursor changes from an arrow to a round dot and automatically changes to the shape that best fits your device.
Universal controls work easily and do not require setup.
If you’re always using the device together and want to use Universal Control without using the cursor to link the two, you can configure System Preferences to use Universal Control continuously.
