Iranian Army Brigadier General Kiumaz Heydari has announced the creation of a new-generation drone called Arash-2, specially developed to strike targets in Israel’s coastal cities such as Haifa and Tel Aviv. The general hailed the latest addition to the Islamic Republic’s military as “unparalleled”.Heydari said the drones would only be deployed in the event of a conflict between Iran and the Jewish state. The new drone could gather information before landing and make multiple approaches to strike, the general explained. Arash-2 can also use his Fateh missile launch for targeting. Drones can hit where these missiles land. The new drone has already been added to the Iranian military’s inventory and will be shown at future military exercises. According to the Iranian military, the latter could hit targets 1,400 kilometers from the launch site and had a low radar profile.
