Ishan Kishan, Shreyas Ayer’s 50s promotes host to 199/2

Lucknow: Ishan Kishan’s Fiery 50 and Shreya Suia’s Launch Cameo helped post 199/2 against Sri Lanka on the first T20I here at Atal Bihari Vajpayé Kana Cricket Stadium on Thursday.

India recorded 52 runs in the last four overs, the host reached 199 and Shreyas recorded 57 with 28 balls.

India got off to a start of firing, first put in a bat, as Ishan’s border turmoil helped the host reach 47 with a five-over.
