James Fisher Renewables has three millions of pounds 13-15 year contracts from the Balfour Beatty Equitix Consortium (BBEC) for professional operations and maintenance (O & M) services for three more offshore transmission infrastructure sites owned by BBEC. It states that it has won.
James Fisher Renewables’ services support informed decision-making by offshore transmission asset owners (OFTOs) at offshore wind farms in Sanette, Gwintimor, and Hamburg, UK.
The contract will be made by JF Renewables’ high voltage business EDS HV Group (EDS).
“With this agreement, EDS will provide enhanced O & M services to offshore assets, ensure system safety in line with HV safety regulations, maintain HV transmission assets, as well as heating and ventilation systems, fire extinguishing and lifesaving. This follows the 15-year contract awarded in 2019 to provide operation and maintenance services for OFTO assets at Greater Gabad Offshore Wind Farms.
