Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck ‘couldn’t be happier’ after tying the knot

Jennifer Lopez describes her recent marriage to Ben Affleck as “one of the most perfect nights of our lives.”

“The wounds have healed,” the pop megastar said at the event in Savannah, Georgia, and that she and Affleck “couldn’t be happier.”

The Hollywood star got engaged in November 2002 and was supposed to get married in September 2003, but the wedding was postponed.

They finally called off their engagement in January 2004.

Writing for her fan newsletter On The JLo, Lopez shared live coverage of the day, including details about the ceremony, rehearsal dinner, reception and the next morning.

“The truth is that each person’s story is different and we are all on our own journeys,” she wrote.

“No two people are the same. But for us, this was perfect timing.

“It’s never felt more right to me. And if you’re well tested to understand loss and joy and never take what’s important or do anything stupid.” We knew we would eventually “settle down” in a way that only we could.

“We find ourselves in the time of life that we have long desired. We are grateful for all that life has shown us, even its trials and tribulations.

“That night was truly heaven.”

She added:

“It’s a full circle and not at all how we planned. Better.
