Johor man, 44, won S$9.83 million in M’sia lottery but plans to continue working in Singapore – Mothership.SG

After winning nearly MYR32 million (S$9,830,000), a Malaysian man living in Johor said he plans to continue working in Singapore.

When he collected the prize, the 44-year-old man Said STM Lottery Sdn Bhd states that they believe the lower the expected value, the better the chances of winning.

“In my spare time, I often play Toto 4D Jackpot and Lucky Toto Mark Six (6/58) Jackpot games. I never thought I would hit the jackpot one day,” he said. .

Despite becoming an overnight billionaire, a man who works as a supervisor for a trading firm in Singapore said he would continue working across borders.

He said:

“The winning numbers — 1, 3, 9, 11, 26, and 47 are my favorite numbers that I bet on regularly. My wife and I are thrilled that a dream has come true. Now is eligible for early retirement, but I will.I will stay vigilant and continue working in Singapore.”

He added that he would use the money to pay off his mortgage, donate it to charity, buy some real estate, and set up an education fund for his children.

The winning numbers for Supreme Toto 6/58 were drawn and announced on September 14th.

He purchased a System 8 ticket and won RM31,949,992.85 (S$9,811,159), plus a system play bonus of RM83,856 (S$26,000).
