Karnataka reports 1,108 new COVID-19 cases, zero deaths

Bangalore: Karnataka recorded 1,108 fresh COVID-19 cases on Monday, with zero deaths and a total of 39,87,428 cases, the Ministry of Health said.

On this day, 997 people were discharged from the hospital, and the total number of collections was 39,39,617.

According to a report from the Ministry of Health, there were 7,680 active cases.

Bangalore Urban accounted for the largest number of 993 cases. There were 11 cases in Ballari, 15 cases in Dakshinakannada, 25 cases in Mithul, and 12 cases in Chorale.

According to the preliminary report, nine districts in the state had zero infections and zero deaths.

A total of 16,256 samples, including 12,653, were tested in the state using the RT-PCR method, with a cumulative total of 6.74 chlores tested.

The number of vaccinations given in the state increased to Rs 1.139 billion, and 1,61,773 people were vaccinated on Monday, it said.
