Hyderabad: Telangana Minister of Minor Welfare K Ishwar said Prime Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is serious about providing higher education opportunities to all sectors of society. “A state-wide network of housing schools was established to provide quality education to poor and poor students,” said the minister.
At the event, the Minister distributed laptops to 100 housing school students enrolled in MBBS, BDS, IIT, and NIT courses. He expressed his highest wishes to these students.
The laptop was distributed on behalf of the Ministry of SC Development. Also on this occasion, all successful IIT and MBBS students were given a check of Rs 50,000 each, and students enrolled in NIIT and BDS courses were given a check of Rs 40,000.
The state government has allocated Rs.92.40 racks to encourage housing school students.
A total of 981 housing schools are functioning throughout the state, and Rs 54,000 students from SC, ST, OBC, and Minorities are currently studying.
“Apart from the SSC results of these schools, inter-level and degree-level results are also promising,” the minister added. “This time, 240 students enrolled in MBBS, 30 enrolled in BDS, 84 enrolled in IIT, and 62 enrolled in NIT. At Central University, 27.”
