King Harald says there is no solution to Europe’s problems related to high electricity prices. But he has some tips on how to save on your electric bill.

“Turn out the lights you don’t need,” the king said on Tuesday when asked about his money-saving tips.

Queen Sonia also shared some advice.

“I have lived in Switzerland for two years. It was a long time ago. There they always saved electricity. We only had one light in each room and we had a shower once a week.” “We are full of light and warmth,” she said.

The royal couple is on a 3-day county tour of San Maure. When I met the press at the Sykkylven docks, they were also questioned about the electricity crisis and inflation.

“We have to get united about it, and then maybe it will work. But I don’t have a solution on how to do that. At the moment, nobody has I think,” King Harald pointed out.

The royal palace’s electricity bill rose 111% last year, according to an annual report released in April. This equates to him 3.7 million Norwegian kroner. This year’s figures have not yet been finalized.
