The newly created sightseeing cycle route on Korcula Island has five service points and a bicycle stand.
The Cortula Tourism Board has developed an action plan for tourism development in cycling and hiking, has launched a series of activities to brand Cortula as a desirable destination for active vacations, and is a prerequisite for promising development in the rural areas of the island. The conditions have been achieved.
Five bicycle service points have been set up on the Korcula cycling route. Pupnatska Luka When Babyna (Korcula), Blato / Smokvica, Lamberda When Veralka (Bella Spira).
To further develop the island’s active tourism, the Cortula Tourism Board recently announced tourist signs for the towns of Chara, Pupunato, Zrunovo and Cortula, and the islets- www.visitkorculaisland.com
During the design of the new hiking trail, attention was focused on promoting and further developing other tourism products, with an emphasis on serving the island’s famous food and wine.

Maps of island cycling and hiking routes have been created and video promotional materials for social media campaigns have been taken.
The new service pole and bike stand are provided by Dubrovnik Neretova County, with Dubrovnik Neretova County as a companion.
