KSrelief pumps over 500,000 liters of water to the Al Hudaydah camp

AL-HUDAYDAH — King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continues to implement water supply and environmental hygiene projects for refugee camps in the Al-Khawkhah district of Al-Hudaydah province, Yemen.

From December 30, 2021 to January 5, 2022, as much as 301,000 liters of water were pumped into the reservoir and 287,000 liters of water were pumped for household use. In addition, 28 cargoes were used to remove waste from refugee camps, benefiting 8,400 individuals.

Medical services

Meanwhile, the dialysis center in the Algaida district of Yemen’s Almafra province continues to provide medical services to patients with the support of the Salman Royal Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief).

In December 2021, the center accepted 159 patients, 43 of whom underwent 448 dialysis sessions.

This is part of a project being carried out by Saudi Arabia through K Relief to ease the suffering of the Yemeni people. —SPA
