Kuwait has recorded 4,232 coronavirus cases and two deaths

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced on Sunday that it will record 4,232 new coronavirus cases and two deaths. The new numbers increased the total number of cases to 578,819 and the number of deaths to 2,510. In a statement to KUNA, the ministry’s official spokesman, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, said 4,712 people had recovered from the virus and the total number of recovery had increased to 522,882. He added that the recovery rate compared to all cases was 90.3 percent.

Al-Sanad also stated that there are 87 patients in the ICU and 567 patients in the COVID-19 ward. He added that the number of swabs collected was 28,419, the total number increased to 7.110,604, and the infection rate compared to the number of swabs was 14.9 percent. According to the latest global updates on coronavirus casualties, the total number of pollution cases was 393 million and the death toll was 5.73 million. The first outbreak of a pandemic was reported in central China in late 2019.
