Kuwait lists 554 new COVID-19 cases with no deaths

Kuwait’s Ministry of Health said Thursday that 554 people have been positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 416,631. The recovery rate increased by 86 to 411,590, but the number of pandemic deaths remained unchanged at 2,468, the ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad told KUNA. He said there were 4 ICU cases in addition to the 24 patients in the COVID-19 ward, and 2,573 were being treated. Al-Sanad revealed that the number of medical swabs performed during the same period reached 24,297, a total increase of 5.94 million.
