Kuwait military blood donation drive concludes

Kuwait: The Kuwait Army yesterday ended a blood donation campaign organized in collaboration with the Kuwait Blood Bank. The campaign entitled “My Blood for Kuwait” has been arranged by the Army’s Guidance and Public Relations Department and has continued since January 23, 2022. Kuwait Army civilians were enthusiastic about participating in the campaign. Outside the importance of blood donation, and the military’s national and human obligations, the Guidance and Public Relations Department said in a statement.

Their participation is also in line with efforts to meet the needs of the country by providing all forms of support to the Ministry of Health and by supporting the central bank by backing up stockpiles of various blood types. The ministry added. Meanwhile, Colonel Mohammad al-Awadi, director of moral guidance and public relations, said the campaign had achieved significant results from a variety of land, air and sea forces.
