Kuwait’s 24-hour coronavirus cases surge to 4,397

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday that it has recorded 4,397 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection in the last 24 hours. The new pollution incident has increased the number of incidents in Kuwait to 441,999.

In a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), MoH spokesman Dr. Abdullah al-Sanad recorded 626 new recovery cases and the total number of healers increased to 414,867. It reached 93.9% compared to the total number of cases.

Dr. Arsanad also revealed that there was one death from the virus in the last 24 hours. Therefore, the overall picture of death settled at 2,473.

Regarding the number of people still receiving treatment in the intensive care unit, he said, there are patients in these wards.

The total number of cases confirmed to be infected and continuing treatment has reached 24,659, and the number of people receiving treatment in the COVID-19 ward has reached 162.

During the same period, medical staff performed 37,540 PCR tests, and the total number of these tests surged to 6,273,509, Dr. Al-Sanad said, adding that the proportion of infected cases to the tests reached 11.7%. rice field.
