Lara and Stein join the coaching staff of the Hyderabad team

The franchise said yesterday that the West Indies, who beat the great Brian Lara and former South African pace pioneer Dale Steyn, have joined the redesigned coach staff of the Indian Premier League’s Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Having won more than 22,000 runs in international cricket before retiring in 2007, Lara was nominated as a strategic advisor and batting coach for the team that won the popular Twenty20 tournament in 2016. In August, he was nominated as the pace bowling coach for the franchise he played in the past.
Hyderabad finally ended in the 2021 8-team tournament, after which head coach Trevor Bayliss resigned. He was replaced by former Australian all-rounder Tom Moody, who worked as director of cricket last season.
Former Australian batter Simon Katich and former Indian batter Heman Badani have also joined the side support staff alongside Mutia Muralidaran, the best test wicket taker as a spin bowling coach.
