Doctors, lawyers, engineers and aviators have qualified for the semi-finals of the Professional Cricket League 2022 after winning matches last weekend.

After the scores were tied at the end of 20 overs on Saturday morning, the Doctors defeated Lawyers in a super over. Lawyer recorded his 10/2 in his overs and Rajiv his Nirmasingham on his 3 balls he broke out 6, 4 and singles to win the game for the Doctors. The previous match had been tied at 134/8 for Doctors and 134/9 for Lawyers in 20 overs. Isuru Gunathilake topped the Doctors’ scorecard with 43 and Rusiru Jayathilake took 5 wickets.

The Aviators beat the Town Planners by 46 runs on Sunday morning in a must-win match between the two sides to qualify for Saturday’s semi-final round. No 7 batsman Umesh Fernando was undefeated in his 33 pitches he recorded 45, devastating the Aviators he scored from 66/5 to 156/8 innings and bowled him in two overs. took 3 wickets.

Attorneys will once again face the Aviators and the Doctors the Engineers in the semi-finals on Saturday at the Ace Capital Ground. The final is scheduled for Sunday at the Colts Ground.
