Kuwait: The Liberation Tower observatory, which has not been open to the public for years, will be open to visitors from Sunday, February 6, 2022, announced yesterday by Deputy Minister of Communications Kholoud Al-Shehab. The 150-meter-high observatory offers breathtaking views of Kuwait City and its surrounding areas. This month, an exhibition on the history of Kuwait’s telecommunications will be held at the Liberation Tower. This exhibition presents Kuwait’s collection of postal services and telecommunications equipment.

Admission to the Liberation Tower is free, but visitors must register online in advance. You will also need to be vaccinated against the coronavirus. The morning session from 9 am to 1 pm is open to foreign diplomats, official delegations, and students from public, private, and special needs schools. Evening sessions are open to the public from 3 pm to 8 pm on weekdays and from 2 pm to 8 pm on weekends.

You can select up to 5 tickets with one reservation. Each ticket contains a unique QR code to enter the Liberation Tower, in addition to the ticket number. A copy of the ticket will also be sent to the visitor’s email and can be downloaded in PDF format. The COVID vaccination certificate must be presented at the entrance and must comply with all Ministry of Health safety guidelines and regulations. We will secure a parking space for visitors behind the tower and take a bus to the entrance.
