The court heard the testimony of Attorney General Marosh Zilinka, Special Counsel Daniel Lipsich, and former Deputy Prosecutor Peter Schfrialski. All three threatened him when he confronted a previously convicted fraudster, Marian Cotuner, or investigated an incident in which he was involved.

But in 2017, when police believed the murder was attempted, none of the three were aware of the anomaly.

“I’ve never noticed anything unusual about me or my family,” Jillinka told the court.

Lipsic and Schfrialski made similar remarks. In this case, all three prosecutors testified in court for the first time. Previously, the Kuciak murder trial was another case in court, but just recently joined a conspiracy case suspected of killing three men.
