Los Lobos will mark its fiftieth anniversary with a present at its East L.A. highschool – Orange County Register

After 50 years of placing out music and hitting the highway, East Los Angeles band Los Lobos are going again to highschool as a part of their milestone anniversary tour.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, June 16 for the fiftieth anniversary exhibits at loslobos.org.

The 12-stop nationwide tour will kick off in Santa Fe, New Mexico on Aug. 12, and can ultimately land the band at The Paramount in Los Angeles on Nov. 21, the Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood on Nov. 22 and at James A. Garfield Excessive College’s The Escalante Auditorium, the band’s alma mater, for the final native present on Nov. 25.
