Lucknow: A court in Lucknow, in his book Sunrise Over Ayodhya: Nationhood in our times, compared the Hindu “Sanatan” with the terrorist organizations of Boko Haram and ISIS, and is the senior leader of Parliament, Salman Crusid. Ordered to register the FIR.
An additional Attorney General, Shantanu Tyagi, ordered the former Federal Minister to register the FIR.
The court instructed the police at Bakshi Ka Talab to file a FIR under the provisions of the relevant law to ensure proper investigation of the matter.
“A copy of the FIR is to be sent to court within three days,” said the Justice of the Peace.
This order was made on the basis of an application moved by one Shubhangi Tiwari under Section 156 (3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC).
In that order, Justice of the Peace said, “From the scrutiny of the application and the discussions raised in its support, I think there is a recognizable crime against Salman Crucid.”
The applicant claimed that certain parts of the book had hurt the religious sentiment of Hindus.
It was also stated that the FIR registration application for parliamentary leaders had been transferred to the police station, but the police did not take action and the court was filed with a plea.
