M5S provides mixed signals regarding post-split government support-English

Senior members of the Five Star Movement (M5S) differ on whether to continue to support Prime Minister Mario Draghi’s broad coalition government after Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio resigned to form a new group on Wednesday. I gave a signal.

“Support for the government is not a problem,” said Agriculture Minister Stefano Patuanelli.

But when asked if the movement would continue to be part of the ruling coalition, M5S MP Stefano Buffagni said, “We will see.”

“We have to reflect,” Buffagni said.

“In my opinion, it’s one of many issues we have to deal with.”
