Malta has implemented only two of the 23 recommendations by the Anti-Corruption State Group.



Only two of the 23 recommendations by the Group of States against Corruption (GRECO) in the latest assessment report were fully implemented or treated in a satisfactory manner by Malta.

GRECO released a compliance report on Malta on Tuesday and the State in the implementation of the recommendations issued in the 5th Round Assessment Report on the Prevention of Corruption and Promotion of Integrity in the Central Government (Top Executive Function) and Law Enforcement Agencies. The report found that 12 recommendations were partially implemented and 9 were not.

The Anti-Corruption National Group (GRECO) is an agency of the Council of Europe aimed at improving members’ ability to combat corruption by monitoring compliance with anti-corruption standards.
