Man injured in car fire in Valletta

A man was seriously injured in a car fire in Valletta on Saturday morning.

Police said the incident occurred in the Marsamxett district just after 9am on Saturday morning.

At the scene, a 41-year-old man was found lying on the ground near the vehicle.

After being treated, the injured man was taken to Mater Dei Hospital and described as having serious injuries.
