Marmolada: Up to 8 Missing Persons-English

(ANSA)-Rome, July 5-Sunday The number of people missing after the Marmolada Glacier disaster has dropped from 13 to 8, researchers said Tuesday.

According to sources, the five no longer explained include a 30-year-old man being treated at a Treviso hospital.

They also include two French mountaineers who have closely encountered the deadly avalanches that followed after the collapse of most of the glaciers.

So far, it has been confirmed that seven people were killed, eight were injured and several were seriously injured in the disaster. (ANSA).
