The Monterey Trolley is rolling once more.
Monterey-Salinas Transit began free trolley service across the Metropolis of Monterey for the summer time season on Saturday.
The trackless trolley will run from 10 a.m. to six p.m. via Labor Day.
MST spokesperson Ikuyo Yoneda-Lopez mentioned the trolley is recognizable due to its distinct bells and is beloved by vacationers and locals alike.
“[It’s] a good way to keep away from parking, congestion, visitors, and sort of assist our surroundings,” Yoneda-Lopez mentioned.
The trolley runs in a loop from downtown Monterey to the aquarium, stopping at Fisherman’s Wharf, Cannery Row and different stops alongside the best way.
One other service change for summer time will see the MST route from Salinas to the campus of California State College Monterey Bay suspended till fall courses resume on Aug. 21.
