Ministry cancels online booking practice

Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Community Development Mussallam Al Subayeh has canceled the practice of pre-booking for visitors.

In a statement, the ministry said the move “is in line with the directives of the Council of Ministers to facilitate working mechanisms within the state’s various sectors and complete visitor transactions as soon as possible.” The Arabian Daily reports.

According to sources, the undersecretary instructed “not to designate or limit visitors on specific dates, but to accept visitors daily and to complete all transactions as soon as possible in accordance with established laws and regulations.”
