Nepalese forum elects new committee

The Qatar-based Nepalese Representative Forum Nawalparasi Welfare Society (NWS) has elected a new working committee and held its convention and its second general meeting to determine their future plans.
The convention was chaired by the retiring President Sajan Laudarai. The chief guest was Raj Regmi, Gulf Youth Coordinator of the Non Resident Nepali Association (NRNA).
The new president, Krishna Panty, talked about the activities the organization has undertaken over the last two years. Regmi praised the NWS’s social initiative and thanked the Nepalese community for its support for welfare.
The other Secretary-Generals of the new committee are Amit Barali (First Vice-Chair), Suraj Kuwar (Second Vice-President), Sandhya Aryal (Female Vice-President), Durga Hamal (Secretary-General), Basudev Pandey (Secretary), Nar. Bahadur Thapa (accounting) and Ramji Subedi (joint accounting).
