New Year’s party is only allowed if fully vaccinated

Hyderabad: Only those who have received both doses of the Covid-19 vaccine can participate in the New Year’s celebrations at hotels and other venues in Hyderabad announced Wednesday.

City Police Commissioner CV Anand On Wednesday we published guidelines for organizers of New Year’s parties at hotels, clubs and pubs.

Organizers and administrators should ensure that no one is allowed without the creation of electronic or physical certificates for both vaccinations.

The organizer must apply to the police for a temporary entertainment license to hold the New Year’s party. They need to make sure that the physical distance is maintained within the venue.

A thermal scanner should be placed at the entrance to scan for people entering the venue.

“The Organizer responsibly warrants that Passes / Tickets / Coupons will not be sold / issued / offered in excess of capacity that violates the Covid Protocol and social distance,” read the guidelines.

All staff and organizers at the venue should test for Covid-19 negatives in the last 48 hours.

The organizer shall provide surgical masks to everyone at the venue and provide disinfectants / hand sanitizers of the prescribed standards and specifications. You should also clean and disinfect the premises and potentially contaminated areas before the program begins.

“To ensure that participants / invitees are fully aware of relevant information, regulations and restrictions that are in vogue, the organizer must take all necessary steps on a regular basis. Arrangements for various announcements / visual displays can be made at the venue to that effect, “said the guidelines.

Meanwhile, in Telangana on Wednesday, 235 new Covid cases were reported, with no deaths in the last 24 hours.
