No Gag on Press Freedom |

Kathimerini publishes opinion pieces that reflect different views. Our commentators and cartoonists may disagree with each other or in the newspaper editorials expressed here in this column.

The public reaction does not impose any restrictions on us, regardless of their motives.

Severe criticism is also welcomed. And it is taken seriously. That said, giving powerful tactics and commentators ridiculous motivation is a toxic attempt to curb press freedom.

You have a duty to protect unpopular views, including views that can be misunderstood. It is not intended to whiten anyone, but to protect the basic principles of freedom of expression, even less if convicted of rape. No Gag on Press Freedom |
