No more Covid clearance required for visits to hospitals and elderly homes

Visitors to hospitals and elderly housings no longer need to present evidence of vaccination (Covid Digital Certificates) or negative tests. The news was decided by the Council of Ministers today and will take effect when it is published in the government bulletin Diário da República. The same council has decided to end the “Traveler Locator Form” for domestic travelers (by plane / boat). At today’s press conference, Health Minister Malta Temid needs to wear masks in certain indoor environments as soon as Portugal reaches the goal of 20 Covid deaths per million inhabitants in 14 days. I emphasized that it will decrease.
