Two people were killed in a car accident on the Buyukkonuk-Caprika highway around 21.00 on Saturday evening.
One of the drivers involved in the accident, Zühre Arkan, died on the scene, and another driver, 38-year-old Meryem Gözütok, was seriously injured and taken to the hospital, despite all medical intervention. I died today.
Three injured passengers, Bayram Gözütok and Sıla Gözütok, have been monitored by the Department of Neurology at Famagusta State Hospital after being diagnosed with a lower back fracture, and Semih Gözütok, who was slightly injured in the accident, is being monitored by A & E. Precautionary measures.
Police investigations into the case continue.
