One Goal Arabia Encourages Young Soccer Players to Unleash the Power of the Game

Young Arab soccer players benefit from the development program initiated by the Delivery & Legacy Supreme Commission (SC) and the Qatar Football Association (QFA) in collaboration with the Jordan-based Aurora for training and development. I have received it.

One Goal Arabia uses Generation Amazing football for its development methodology. Generation Amazing is the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Legacy Program launched by SC in 2010 and has a positive impact on more than 725,000 people worldwide.
At the midpoint of the One Goal Arabia project, QFA General Secretary Mansour Al Ansari said: “We are very pleased to be able to participate in the Generation Amazing Festival 2021 and interact with the Ambassador of the One Goal Arabia Program. This initiative empowers our youth, supports their growth and at the same time is ethical. It is an important milestone in leveraging our position as a role model to raise awareness of the issue of inclusive and sustainable development. ”
Since its inception, participants have participated in workshops organized by major organizations in the field of sports development to showcase the role sports can play in tackling social issues. There were sessions on philanthropy, sustainable development goals, climate change measures, inclusions, mental health and protection. Organizations involved in the project include South Carolina, the United Nations Development Program, the Qatar Foundation, Special Olympics, Loughborough University, and cross-continental coaches.
“The OneGoal Arabia Initiative has given us the opportunity to grow a diverse group of young leaders as global citizens,” said Nasser Arcoli, Director of the Generation Amazing Program.
“With access to Generation Amazing football for the development program, participants have built leadership and life skills. Now they are ready for the second half of the program. They are heading for Qatar 2022 and Beyond that, create a program to share with younger peers throughout the local community. “

At the “All-in” festival, players celebrated Arab solidarity and participated in a series of interactive activities involving more than 200 participants from the region. Athletes will be represented by football associations who will participate in a dedicated program aimed at building active youth development skills and enabling ambassadors to reach their full potential beyond training. did.

Participants will be able to participate in the peer education segment of the program.
They work with educators to explore comprehensive leadership, ethical volunteering, and impact management before creating their own programs to share with younger peers throughout the community.
