Only passengers who have purchased a ticket can enter the Dubai terminal

Dubai Airport today announced that from December 29th to January 8th, only passengers who have purchased a ticket can enter the terminal at Dubai International Airport.
Officials said the ongoing peak travel period would witness an estimated 2 million passengers expected to pass through Dubai. According to the local agency WAM, the average daily traffic volume exceeds 178,000.
January 2, 2022 will be the busiest day of the holiday season, with more than 198,000 passengers expected.
During the ongoing peak travel period, only passengers who have purchased a ticket can enter the Dubai International Airport (DXB) Terminal.

Essa Al Shamsi, Vice President of Terminal Operations at Dubai Airport, said: This is even more important given the high number of passengers using the airport during peak pandemics and holiday seasons. Arshamushi also urged travelers not to arrive at the airport more than three hours before departure when departing from Terminal 1 or 2 by plane to ease congestion.
