Opensignal: StarHub Takes Top Position in Overall Mobile Experience in Singapore

StarHub users Opensignal’s Latest Mobile Network Experience Report.

According to a survey conducted from August 1 to October 29 this year, StarHub provided users with the best overall experience in Singapore. Winner of all 5 awards for Opensignal’s overall user experience – From streaming mobile video and playing multiplayer games to using over-the-top voice apps over cellular connections.

The report found that StarHub users had the best experience when playing multiplayer mobile games over cellular connections, earning StarHub the following titles: Game Experience Award Winner.

In our previous report, StarHub, M1, and Singtel users saw little to no difference in their use of over-the-top voice apps such as WhatsApp, Skype, and Facebook Messenger.However, in 2022 StarHub will Voice App Experience Award Winnerwhich received a score of 81.4 out of 100.

StarHub also Superior and Consistent Quality Awardreplaces Singtel as it provides the best experience to support common application requirements. For Core Consistent Quality, StarHub’s score of 92.2% beat Singtel’s score by 1.9 points.

StarHub offers the fastest experience overall. The operator continues to download speed experience with a score of 81.1 Mbps upload speed experience Average upload speed is 14.7Mbps. User download speeds increased sharply for 3 of the 4 operators: StarHub (23%), Singtel (22.8%) and M1 (11.5%).

Three of the four operators – M1, Singtel and StarHub – have a perfect score of 10 out of 10 since the last report for their 4G coverage experience. Users will enjoy a good 4G coverage experience everywhere they live, work and travel on the island.
