Our £ 5,000 Disneyland Paris holiday was ruined after a Libyan stranger’s passport was sent on my behalf

The family’s £ 5,000 trip to Disneyland Paris was ruined after the wrong passport was sent.

Katie Taylor forked £ 200 to quickly track the application so that she could prepare the document for her dream vacation.

But instead of being delivered herself, the 19-year-old received a Libyan one instead.

The Taylors desperately tried to contact the passport office to inform them of the mistake, but every time they called, they were allegedly told that they were “too busy” to help.

Almost a week later, Katie from Kent hasn’t been explained yet-or she hasn’t been told where her passport is.

And she and her brother George are afraid that it could fall into the wrong hands.

Security guard George said:

“It’s very sensitive information. It’s horrifying and very worrisome.

“The first thing we did was to call the office to let them know, but they seem too busy to accept the call right now.

“I gave the man’s passport to the police, but my biggest concern right now is that someone else is using my sister’s passport,” he said.

Katie and George were scheduled to go to Disneyland Paris on April 11th with their parents and Nan.

However, after noticing that Katie’s passport had expired, the family postponed the £ 5,000 trip to October.

However, they were desperate to process Katie’s new application as soon as possible, so they cleared £ 200 for a face-to-face appointment in London.

When she arrived, the office said she “did not know” where her documents arrived and must have been “lost in the system”-and they still can’t provide an answer.

George said:

A spokesman for the passport office confirmed that the issue was under investigation.
