Pahor won the Juergen Palm Award for his contribution to sports

President Ljubljana-Bort Pahor was awarded the Jurgen Palm Award for his important and long-term contribution to the field of international sports for all and physical activity. This award is awarded every two years by the International Sports Association (TAFISA).

Pahall will hold the 27th TAFISA World Congress on Wednesday, June 8-12, under the auspices of TAFISA President Ju-Ho Chang, members of the TAFISA Board of Directors, and Slovenes. We welcomed the Honorary Committee of. president.

According to Cheong Wa Dae, Mr. Pahall received the TAFISA Award and staff of the Slovenian Olympic Commission recognize the importance of recreational sports to the community as the ongoing World Congress is dedicated to this. Thank you for that.

He said Slovenia is the only country in Europe to celebrate sports on national holidays. This was also emphasized by TAFISA in the award justification, as the Slovenian Sports Day initiative was driven specifically by Pahall.
