Pakistan Suicide Attack: Peshawar Mosque Explosion Injures 50 During Zhuhr Prayers (Watch Video)

Peshawar, January 30: At least 50 people were injured when a suicide bomber blew himself up at a mosque in Pakistan’s rebellious Khyber Pakhtunkhwa capital here on Monday, officials said. According to Dawn, the explosion occurred near the police station around 1:40 pm, during Zuhr’s prayers. Explosions in Pakistan: At least 50 injured after suicide bombing at Peshawar mosque.
Security officials said the suicide bomber blew himself up while he was in the front row during a prayer, injuring dozens of people praying. Thirteen of the injured were in critical condition, hospital sources said.
An emergency has occurred in the area and the area has been locked down.
