Peshawar, January 30: At least 50 people were injured when a suicide bomber blew himself up at a mosque in Pakistan’s rebellious Khyber Pakhtunkhwa capital here on Monday, officials said. Security officials said the suicide bomber blew himself up while he was in the front row during a prayer, injuring dozens of people praying. Thirteen of the injured were in critical condition, hospital sources said.
An emergency has occurred in the area and the area has been locked down.
